Turkmenistan's CIS Presidency and Autumn Summits in Ashgabat on the Minsk Agenda


On July 28, a meeting of the Council of Permanent Plenipotentiary Representatives of the Commonwealth Member States to the Statutory and Other Bodies of the Organization will be held at the headquarters of the CIS Executive Committee in Minsk.
The central item on the agenda will be a summary of the implementation of the Concept for Turkmenistan's Presidency of the Commonwealth of Independent States in 2026 and the corresponding Action Plan for the first half of the year.
In addition, diplomats will review draft agendas for the upcoming meetings of the Council of Foreign Ministers and the Council of Heads of State of the CIS, scheduled for October 7 and 9 of this year in Turkmenistan.
Participants will also analyze the work of the CIS Tourism Council for 2022–2025, discuss the implementation of the Roadmap for key initiatives of the heads of state and government, and discuss issues of deepening cooperation between Commonwealth countries in the areas of digitalization, information and communications technology, and healthcare.
