Ashgabat to Host Turkmenistan-Uzbekistan Business Forum
BUSINESS | ORIENT. From July 27 to 29, the Turkmenistan-Uzbekistan Business Forum will be held at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan. Bilateral business meetings will be held between representatives of commercial and government agencies from both countries.
The main focus of the B2B negotiations will be expanding practical cooperation in strategic sectors such as construction, industrial cooperation, and construction materials production.
The three-day business program is expected to allow entrepreneurs and industrialists from Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan to conclude new contracts, discuss direct supplies of raw materials and finished products, and outline joint cooperation projects.
The upcoming forum reflects the two countries' commitment to taking trade and economic ties to a new level. On the eve, ORIENT covered important proposals to create a Turkmen-Uzbek Industrial Belt and a Supreme Interstate Council, designed to give a powerful impetus to the integration of the region's production capacities.
