Turkmengeology Attracts Foreign Partners to Search for Rare Minerals
The «Turkmengeology» State Corporation is intensifying geological exploration work to find and prospect for rare minerals using best international practices. Deputy Prime Minister Guvanch Agadzhanov reported on the implementation of the agency's key initiatives in this regard at a Cabinet of Ministers meeting on Friday.
Exploration of rare minerals is becoming a crucial element in diversifying the country's raw materials and industrial potential. To improve the efficiency of underground resource exploration, Turkmenistan is establishing cooperation with leading foreign companies with high-precision technologies and international expertise.
The Deputy Prime Minister submitted a corresponding proposal for the President's consideration to establish and expand international cooperation in this geological field.
Approving the initiative, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the need for the rational use of the country's abundant natural resources and instructed that all necessary work be carried out to implement the planned partnership projects.
