Asian Development Bank invites private companies to join the 2026 CAREC Business Forum in Mongolia

The Asian Development Bank (ADB), as the Central Asia Regional Economic Cooperation (CAREC) Program Secretariat, will organize the 2026 CAREC Business Forum (CBF) on 30 September – 1 October 2026 in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. The first day of the forum will focus on “Scaling Up Investment - Driving Infrastructure Transformation,” while the theme for the second day will be “Mongolia in the Regional Spotlight.” The event is scheduled to take place alongside the 25th CAREC Ministerial Conference.
The Forum will focus on three thematic subforums – Energy & Interconnectivity, Smart Transport & Logistics, and Critical Minerals – with emphasis on unlocking investment opportunities and identifying bottlenecks hindering private sector-led infrastructure development.
The Forum’s program will feature high-level plenary sessions, expert panel discussions, thematic subforums, and dedicated business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-government (B2G) matchmaking sessions. These activities are intended to facilitate partnerships, investment opportunities, and regional business cooperation.
The event offers a valuable platform to connect with senior government officials from CAREC countries, industry leaders across Asia and Europe, potential investors in the region, and ADB management and development partners.
If your privately owned company is based in Turkmenistan, operates in any of these sectors – Energy & Interconnectivity, Smart Transport & Logistics, and Critical Minerals – and is interested in joining the Forum, ADB invites the company to register through https://carecprogram.org/?event=carec-business-forum-2026.
Registration for in-person participation is open until 15 August 2026.
