Turkmenistan's Ambassador to China Visits Shanghai Arts and Crafts Museum
Turkmenistan's Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to China, Parahat Durdyyev, paid an official visit to the Shanghai Arts and Crafts Museum. He was accompanied by Mergen Sakherov, Third Secretary of the Embassy. The visit focused on strengthening cultural ties and promoting joint creative projects between Turkmenistan and China.
During the visit, the museum's leadership expressed gratitude to the Embassy of Turkmenistan for its longstanding support. Thanks to this partnership, the two sides have regularly organized international exhibitions, art displays, and forums dedicated to safeguarding intangible cultural heritage. The discussions also covered plans to expand cooperation through new joint exhibitions, exchange visits by artists, and the development of academic and research programs.
Ambassador Parahat Durdyyev highly praised the museum's contribution to strengthening bilateral relations. He noted that cultural and educational initiatives help the peoples of both countries better understand each other. The Ambassador emphasized that the embassy would continue to actively support new initiatives aimed at introducing China's public to the rich artistic heritage of Turkmenistan.
A special part of the visit was the Ambassador's warm meeting with dozens of Turkmen students currently studying at universities in Shanghai. Parahat Durdyyev spoke with the students and encouraged them to serve as active ambassadors of friendship by strengthening cultural dialogue between Turkmenistan and China.
