From July 1 to 10, students of the International University of Oil and Gas named after Yagshygeldi Kakayev completed an industrial internship in the United Arab Emirates. The training took place at the prestigious Khalifa University in Abu Dhabi as part of the international Summer Energy Camp for International Students program.
The main objective of the internship was to familiarize students with the operations of the leading energy company ADNOC and to study Khalifa University's advanced experience in education and scientific research. This international exchange enabled the future Turkmen specialists to complement their theoretical knowledge with valuable practical experience.
During the program, the students explored modern oil and gas technologies and the application of artificial intelligence in the energy sector. They also became acquainted with advanced industrial practices in the university's laboratories and visited specialized training centers and museums.
The program included visits to ADNOC's production facilities, an aerospace laboratory, a maintenance laboratory, and a 3D printing center. In addition, the participants attended short-term courses on renewable energy, drilling engineering, petroleum engineering, and reservoir fluid properties.
The internship made an important contribution to strengthening cooperation between higher education institutions and to the training of highly qualified professionals.
