Turkmengeology Is Seeking International Contractors for Deep Drilling in the Country's West


The Turkmengeology State Corporation, on behalf of the relevant Commission of the Oil and Gas Complex of Turkmenistan, has announced an international tender to find a technology partner to conduct complex drilling operations at a promising site.
The contractor will be responsible for completing the drilling and subsequent development (testing) of Miocene deposits at exploratory well No. 01 at the Akpatlavuk oil field. The work will be carried out in strict accordance with the Individual Working Project. This tender is not subdivided.
Experienced foreign companies specializing in deep exploration drilling are invited to participate. The organizing committee emphasizes that applications from companies registered or holding bank accounts in offshore zones will not be considered.
To apply, potential participants must:
— submit a written request indicating the company's full name, legal status, country of incorporation, bank details, and a detailed presentation of its activities.
— review the relevant Law of Turkmenistan on Public Procurement and an extract from the Tender Rules. — receive the technical specifications, main contract terms, and an invoice for the registration fee.
Participation fee: USD 1,500 or the equivalent in national manat (excluding VAT and bank fees). An invoice will be issued only after the written application has been submitted.
A complete set of tender proposals (quotations) must be submitted in a single sealed envelope, certified with an ink seal. The package will only be reviewed after payment of the fee has been confirmed.
Important: Electronic versions of the documents (the questionnaire and contract terms in Word format, and the technical and economic specifications in Excel format) must be included in the envelope.
