The orbit of the International Space Station (ISS) has been successfully adjusted and raised by 1.9 kilometers, according to Russia's Roscosmos, as reported by TASS.

The maneuver was carried out during the night of July 2 using the engines of the Progress MS-34 cargo spacecraft, which operated for just over nine minutes. Following the adjustment, the station's orbital altitude reached 419.89 kilometers above Earth.

The orbit correction is a routine procedure designed to establish the required ballistic conditions ahead of the upcoming launch of the Soyuz MS-29 spacecraft and the scheduled landing of the Soyuz MS-28 descent module.

The ISS is currently home to a seven-member international crew, including Russian cosmonauts Sergey Kud-Sverchkov, Sergey Mikayev, and Andrey Fedyaev, NASA astronauts Christopher Williams, Jessica Meir, and Jack Hathaway, as well as Sophie Adenot, an astronaut of the European Space Agency (ESA).
