Students from the Joint Turkmen-Russian Secondary School named after A.S. Pushkin in Ashgabat, Gordey Vlasenko and Milana Farsiyants, have won a major international competition. The competition, included in the list of key educational events of the Russian Ministry of Education for the current academic year, aims to develop friendly interethnic relations and introduce young people to the cultures of different countries.

The Ashgabat school, a member of the Association of Russian Schools Abroad, submitted approximately 18 creative works to the competition, two of which were recognized by the expert jury as the most outstanding.

The winners' mentor, Elena Ter-Semenova, the school's deputy director for educational work, explained the essence of the winning projects. Gordey Vlasenko's project was dedicated to his school, which for many years has served as a true bridge of friendship and cultural dialogue between Turkmenistan and Russia.

Milana Farsiyants' project introduced an international audience to the history and atmosphere of the famous A.S. Pushkin Square, located in the heart of Ashgabat.
