A delegation from Turkmenistan participated in the international Dubrovnik Forum, held in Croatia under the conceptual title "The Era of Multipolarity: Many Directions, One Future." This large-scale European platform brought together foreign ministers from more than 30 countries, as well as leaders of international organizations and think tanks, to discuss security architecture, digitalization, artificial intelligence, and transport and logistics integration. On the sidelines of the forum, Ashgabat not only presented its global peacekeeping initiatives but also held a series of intensive bilateral talks with its Balkan partners.

Speaking at a panel session dedicated to universal values in a multipolar world, Deputy Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan Myahri Byashimova outlined in detail the country's approaches to fostering a culture of trust in international relations. The European expert community focused on the practical experience of Turkmenistan's positive neutrality. It was emphasized that Ashgabat consistently advocates for a just international order based on strict adherence to the UN Charter, respect for sovereignty, non-interference in internal affairs, and the exclusively peaceful, equal settlement of any disputes.

The diplomatic track of the visit included important bilateral meetings aimed at diversifying ties with the Balkan countries. During talks between Myahri Byashimova and Frano Matušić, State Secretary for Political Affairs of the Croatian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the parties outlined steps to intensify trade and economic cooperation and environmental security. Particular emphasis was placed on relaunching the Intergovernmental Commission and establishing direct contacts between business circles.

The direction of the Balkan partnership was solidified by a meeting with Nevena Jovanović, State Secretary of the Serbian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, during which the parties noted a high level of mutual understanding and discussed new promising projects in the humanitarian and economic spheres.
