Students of the Dovletmammet Azadi Turkmen National Institute of World Languages Begin Language Internship in Germany

A group of 15 top students from the Dovletmammet Azadi Turkmen National Institute of World Languages has traveled to Germany for a professional language internship. The program is being conducted under the existing academic and cultural cooperation agreement with the prestigious Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg.
The educational and practical program is taking place from June 29 to July 12 in the German city of Halle. The internship is designed for future German language specialists studying at the Faculty of European Languages and Literature. Its main objective is to improve students’ language proficiency while developing modern teaching competencies. During two weeks of intensive training, the participants will complete 72 hours of conversational and practical language instruction.

In addition to advanced language studies, the internship offers young scholars an opportunity to become familiar with the latest European teaching methodologies. According to the institute's administration, such international exchange programs provide a strong impetus for expanding academic cooperation and professional exchange between the teaching staff of the two countries.
In the future, the program is expected to help the institute strengthen joint research projects with German partners, expand student academic mobility, and further reinforce the friendly cultural, educational, and humanitarian ties between Turkmenistan and Germany.
