Ceremonial Event Marking the 35th Anniversary of Turkmenistan's Independence and Its International Initiatives Was Held in Doha

On June 28, a ceremonial event was held at the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the State of Qatar with the participation of heads of diplomatic missions accredited in Doha, as well as representatives of public organizations and the media.

At the beginning of the event, the Ambassador presented this year's national motto, "Independent, Neutral Turkmenistan – the Homeand of Purposeful Winged Horses," and highlighted the high-level events being organized across the country to celebrate the 35th anniversary of Turkmenistan's independence. Guests were also introduced to the country's ongoing development efforts and the literary works inspired by the wisdom of the National Leader of the Turkmen people and the Estemeed President.
The Ambassador further outlined the main priorities of Turkmenistan's foreign policy, which is based on the country's internationally recognized status of permanent neutrality. Particular emphasis was placed on Turkmenistan's initiatives aimed at promoting peace and cooperation both regionally and globally, including resolutions adopted by the United Nations General Assembly at the country's initiative.

Participants also learned about Turkmenistan's achievements during the years of independence, the contribution of the Turkmen people to world culture, the nation's rich cultural heritage, and efforts to preserve the purity of the Ahalteke horse breed. Guests concluded the event with a visit to the embassy's museum, where exhibits showcasing Turkmen national traditions and art are on display.
