The children's industry is today one of the most resilient and dynamically developing sectors of the global economy. Consumer activity in this segment peaks on the eve of the fall season, making late summer a strategically important time for introducing new brands to the market. In this context, the international exhibition "Kids Expo: All for Kids", which will be held in Ashgabat from August 19 to 22, is attracting increased attention from major international manufacturers, distributors, and licensing agencies. International industry resources and export-oriented platforms are already evaluating the upcoming Ashgabat forum as a key gateway to the large and promising markets of Turkmenistan and Central Asia.

The interest of international players in the Ashgabat exhibition venue is economically sound, as the Central Asian region boasts a high proportion of young people and a steadily growing birth rate. This creates a stable, long-term demand for high-quality children's products—from specialized textiles and functional furniture to high-tech educational projects.

For large foreign holdings, participation in the Ashgabat forum offers the opportunity to fill vacant niches in a region with high consumer potential. The organizers claim the exhibition space will cover 8,000-10,000 square meters, hosting over 130 exhibitors from 30 countries. Approximately 80% of the announced participants represent senior management, significantly increasing the commercial value of direct B2B negotiations.

The organizers' choice of August timing was deliberate, as this period is crucial for the entire financial year in the children's industry's business model. At the end of summer, distributors and retail chains finalize their budgets for future periods and conduct key tenders and purchases before the start of the school year. Entering the market during these dates allows foreign suppliers to integrate into local retail chains during the peak purchasing period. According to experts, direct contact with local retailers during the exhibition significantly reduces the transaction cycle.

The modern children's goods market has long been more than just a traditional retail format. Today, up to 40% of sales in the toy, clothing, and stationery segments are tied to licensing agreements—the use of popular animated characters, game franchises, and multimedia brands. Large agencies specializing in media licensing are expected to actively participate at the Ashgabat venue, offering regional businesses a rare opportunity to negotiate direct collaborations with copyright holders of global and national children's franchises without intermediaries.

The geographic reach of the exhibition's participants extends not only to neighboring countries in the region but also to the CIS, Eastern Europe, and Asia, transforming Ashgabat into an effective discussion and trade platform capable of boosting the development of the entire children's industry.

At the same time, Kids Expo 2026 is of enormous interest not only to large investment businesses and distributors, but also to ordinary consumers, parents, and children. Over these four days in August, the exhibition center will be transformed into a unique interactive space where retail visitors will be the first to see and experience the latest global trends in children's fashion, educational games, and learning systems.

For families, this will be a rare opportunity to directly experience safe products from leading global manufacturers, participate in presentations of next-generation play spaces, and select the best products for the new school season. A progressive offering meets an innovation-ready market, and those players and consumers who take advantage of the Ashgabat platform in August will secure a strategic position for the future.
