Turkmenistan to Host International Nature Exhibition in Partnership with the Heydar Aliyev Foundation
Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan are launching a new vector of humanitarian cooperation between the two countries' leading public organizations. During a telephone conversation on June 25 between Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the National Leader of the Turkmen People and Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan, and Ilham Aliyev, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, preparations for a major joint project were announced.
From October 19 to November 30 of this year, our country will host the international exhibition "Ene-Tebigat" ("Mother Nature"). The forum will be organized by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need. As the National Leader of the Turkmen People emphasized, this event aims to strengthen practical contacts between the two organizations and open new avenues for long-term social and cultural partnership.
The announced exhibition will be a logical continuation of the dynamic interstate dialogue, which has recently demonstrated unprecedented activity. The interlocutors noted with satisfaction that President Serdar Berdimuhamedov's recent visit to Baku laid a solid foundation for deepening cooperation, encompassing trade, economic, transport, industrial, and agricultural sectors.
The leaders of the fraternal states particularly highlighted the traditionally productive nature of ties in science, education, sports, and culture. The highly successful organization of the Days of Culture of Turkmenistan in Baku and Ganja, as well as the reciprocal Days of Culture of Azerbaijan in Ashgabat and Arkadag, vividly demonstrates the shared historical roots of the two peoples, both descended from the Oghuz people. At the conclusion of the conversation, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and Ilham Aliyev reaffirmed the unwavering commitment of Ashgabat and Baku to the consistent expansion of their good-neighborly strategic partnership.
