Tecno releases ultra-thin Camon 50 Slim smartphone with a powerful battery
Tecno has introduced a new smartphone called the Camon 50 Slim. The device combines an extremely thin body with strong battery life and appeared on the brand’s global website without an official launch event, immediately attracting attention from experts.
The main highlight of the device is its ultra-thin body measuring just 6.39 mm, with rounded edges. Despite this, the manufacturer managed to fit a large 5600 mAh battery inside, supporting 60W fast charging. For comparison, its potential competitor iPhone Air, at 5.6 mm thickness, features only a 3149 mAh battery.
The back panel includes an interactive lighting system called AI Mood Light, made up of 354 mini-LEDs capable of producing various light effects. The smartphone features a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 144 Hz refresh rate and is powered by the MediaTek Helio G200 Ultimate processor. The base configuration includes 8 GB of RAM and 128 or 256 GB of storage.
The camera setup includes a 50 MP Sony main sensor and a 32 MP front-facing camera for selfies. Additional features include Dolby Atmos stereo speakers, an NFC chip, and IP68/IP69 water and dust resistance. Camon 50 Slim pricing has not yet been announced.
