Migration Authorities of Turkmenistan and Poland Sign Memorandum of Understanding in Warsaw


A working meeting was held in Warsaw between Amanmuhammet Sazakov, Head of the State Migration Service of Turkmenistan and leader of the national delegation visiting the Republic of Poland, and Robert Bagan, Head of the Border Guard of the Republic of Poland.
During the talks, the parties reaffirmed their readiness to actively expand cooperation within international programs and initiatives aimed at ensuring regional security, stability, and sustainable development. They also discussed in detail the key trends shaping the global migration sector.
The main outcome of the meeting was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the State Migration Service of Turkmenistan and the Border Guard of Poland.
The practical implementation of this document is expected to broaden opportunities for exchanging best practices, establish mechanisms for regular bilateral consultations and expert meetings, and strengthen direct professional contacts between specialists of the two countries.
The parties emphasized that the signed memorandum represents an important step toward diversifying interstate dialogue and provides a solid international legal foundation for long-term cooperation between Ashgabat and Warsaw in the field of migration.
