“Night of Ideas” in Ashgabat: French Institute Will Host Open Discussions on AI and Ecology


On June 21, the French Institute in Ashgabat will join the large-scale international initiative “Night of Ideas.” During the event, residents and visitors of the capital will have the opportunity to participate in open discussions on some of today’s most pressing challenges, ranging from the implementation of artificial intelligence to environmental protection. This year’s theme is “Opening the Path.”
The event aims to bring together experts and engaged citizens on a single platform to explore solutions to contemporary issues. Admission is free for everyone, providing a valuable opportunity to gain insights directly from specialists and ask questions.

The evening program includes three main sessions:
3:00 PM — Art and Education. A panel discussion on the role of arts education in the digital age. Experts, artists, and theater professionals will discuss how traditional approaches can be combined with modern IT tools.
4:00 PM — Ecology and Sustainable Development. A discussion featuring environmental experts and activists. Speakers will address regional environmental challenges, the role of youth in protecting nature, and the implementation of green technologies.
4:30 PM — Artificial Intelligence and the Future of Professions. A roundtable discussion with local IT specialists. Key topics will include the impact of AI on the labor market and the prospects for digital transformation in Turkmenistan.
