Procedure for the Use of Students’ Personal Mobile Devices in the Educational Process Was Approved by the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan
The Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan has recently approved a procedure governing the use of students’ personal mobile technical devices for educational purposes. Order No. 197, issued by the Minister of Education of Turkmenistan on May 19 of this year in accordance with Part 13 of Article 16 of the Law of Turkmenistan “On Education,” was officially registered by the Ministry of Justice on June 3 under registration number 1948.
According to the document, students’ personal mobile technical devices include - “mobile phones, smartphones, tablets, laptops, smartwatches, and other personal electronic devices that perform communication functions, connect to the Internet, and are capable of taking photographs as well as making audio and video recordings.”
