Mass Cycling Ride Held in Riyadh to Mark World Bicycle Day
On June 1, the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia organized a mass cycling ride in Riyadh to celebrate World Bicycle Day.
The event brought together citizens of Turkmenistan residing in Saudi Arabia, representatives of the Turkmen diaspora, and residents of Riyadh.
During the event, the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Muhammetgeldi Ayazov, delivered a speech highlighting the importance of Turkmenistan’s international initiatives aimed at promoting sports, encouraging a healthy lifestyle, and protecting the environment. He also emphasized the significance of Turkmenistan’s policy of permanent neutrality.
Participants of the cycling ride highly appreciated Turkmenistan’s contribution to advancing international initiatives focused on environmental protection, maintaining ecological sustainability, fostering a healthy and physically fit society, and strengthening friendly cultural ties among nations.
