The Legendary Belarusian Confectionery Brand Slodych Entered the Turkmen Market for the First Time
The commencement of direct exports of products from the largest Belarusian manufacturer of flour confectionery to the Turkmen market marked the practical start of the implementation of agreements to deepen the trade and economic partnership between the two countries. According to an official statement from the Belarusian State Concern for Food Industry and a press release from the Slodych Confectionery Factory, the company's first-ever shipment of confectionery products to Turkmenistan was successfully completed on May 29.
The debut export assortment included the most popular and premium types of cookies and candies, which have proven themselves internationally. Experts are calling this event a crucial step in the systematic expansion of the commercial presence of leading Belarusian industrial brands in the Central Asian region based on the principles of a long-term and mutually beneficial strategic partnership.
Entering the Turkmen market is a significant achievement for the Slodych confectionery factory in Minsk, confirming the high quality and competitiveness of the brand's products. The brand currently produces over 100 different types of sweets, including sugar cookies, hard biscuits, rich cookies, glazed cookies, and specialized diabetic cookies, as well as gingerbread, muffins, and candies.
The manufacturer is constantly expanding its capacity and actively diversifying its sales geography, in part through successful expansion. The management of the specialized Belarusian concern emphasizes that the agreements reached with Turkmen partners are systemic and provide for not one-time transactions, but the planned development of retail chains, regular product updates on store shelves in Turkmenistan, and a systematic increase in mutual trade.
