An international scientific and practical conference titled “White City Ashgabat – A Masterpiece of Architectural Art and a Center of Scientific Innovation” was held at the Turkmen State Architecture and Construction Institute (TSACI). Dedicated to City Day, the online forum brought together scientists, lecturers, and students from 15 countries around the world.

More than 210 experts presented their reports and technological developments during the conference. Participants included representatives of leading universities and industrial companies from Turkmenistan, the United States, South Korea, the Russian Federation, Pakistan, Finland, Belarus, and the countries of Central Asia.

The main focus of discussions was the integration of education with industry, as well as the introduction of the digital economy into the construction sector. Foreign scholars shared their experience in creating comfortable urban environments, earthquake-resistant design, and the use of smart technologies in modern architecture. Following the plenary session, discussions continued within four specialized sections.

One of the highlights of the forum was an exhibition of research and design projects created by Turkmen students and professors. Particular attention was drawn to the large-scale design project of the new TSACI campus complex, fully developed by the institute’s architects. Construction of this ultramodern facility in Ashgabat is currently in its final stage. The official opening of the new high-tech student campus is scheduled for September 2026.

In addition to architecture, TSACI is actively conducting research in ecology, rational use of natural resources, chemical technologies, and IT systems aimed at import substitution and increasing the country’s export potential.

At the conclusion of the meeting, international participants emphasized the effectiveness of Turkmenistan’s urban development policy, where historical traditions are harmoniously combined with innovative and environmentally friendly approaches to the development of modern cities.
