Belarus and Egypt are entering a new stage of economic partnership. During the visit of the Egyptian delegation to Minsk, the two sides agreed to use exchange trading mechanisms to increase trade turnover. The cooperation will focus on attracting companies to electronic trading platforms, exchanging pricing information, and jointly training entrepreneurs, according to BELTA.
Special attention was given to digital technologies. The Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange (BUCE) is ready to adapt its software solutions to the needs of the Egyptian market. Belarusian IT products are versatile and can be configured for trading almost any type of commodity, creating a strong technological connection between the two countries.
A series of training seminars will be organized for Egyptian businesses to simplify companies’ entry into new markets. Egypt’s Ministry of Investment will support the promotion of exchange-trading instruments that help businesses find reliable partners and minimize risks in export-import transactions.
Egyptian Minister of Investment Mohamed Farid Saleh emphasized that joint efforts would allow both countries to realize their trade potential more effectively. Coordinated work between the exchanges will become an important tool for transparent business operations and for expanding goods into CIS and African markets.
