On May 4, the final round of the state creative contest “Happy Youth of a Prosperous State” was held at the Magtymguly National Music and Drama Theater in Ashgabat. Dedicated to Victory Day, the event brought together some of the best university students from across Turkmenistan, highlighting their professional ambitions and commitment to national values. The information was published on the official website of the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan.
The contest, organized by the Youth Organization named after Magtymguly together with the Ministry of Education, consisted of several stages, each revealing different aspects of the participants’ talents:
— Through songs, dances, and video presentations, students creatively introduced their future professions and demonstrated their importance for the country.
— The second stage focused on science and technology. Participants recited poems and performed monologues praising courage, honesty, and the pursuit of knowledge.
— In the final stage, the young men competed in artistic performance skills. Humorous sketches and entertaining performances in traditional national costumes created a festive atmosphere for the audience.
A professional jury composed of cultural and artistic figures evaluated not only the contestants’ vocal and dance abilities, but also their knowledge of national traditions. According to the results, third place was awarded to Mammet Toyryyev, a fifth-year student of the International Oil and Gas University named after Yagshygeldi Kakayev.
In addition to the main awards, the organizers established special nominations to recognize the individuality of each participant. These included titles such as “Brave Young Man,” “Inspired Young Man,” “Gifted Young Man,” and “Master Musician.” All winners and finalists received honorary certificates and valuable prizes.
The contest became a vivid demonstration that the modern youth of Turkmenistan successfully combines the mastery of advanced technologies with deep respect for the cultural heritage of the nation.
