Belarus has secured its place among the top four in the global ranking of the World Phygital Community. Strong performances at international tournaments have proven that the country’s representatives can compete on equal terms with the world’s top athletes as BELTA report.
At the recent Games of the Future held in Abu Dhabi, where athletes from 65 countries took part, Belarusian competitors demonstrated excellent preparation. Phygital sport requires versatility: athletes must be equally skilled in both video games and traditional sports.
The MinskHouse team stood out in particular. The squad won a bronze medal in tactical shooting and currently holds second place in the global ranking. Belarusian teams in phygital basketball and football also achieved high positions.
The federation is now actively preparing for the upcoming Games of the Future 2026, which will take place in Astana from July 29 to August 9, 2026. More than 900 athletes from around the world are expected to compete for a prize pool of $4.75 million.
