In coming days, weather conditions in Turkmenistan will be shaped by shifting atmospheric processes, leading to temperature fluctuations and changes in wind patterns.
Today, Saturday, the weather is influenced by the southwestern periphery of an anticyclone. Comfortable temperatures are observed across the country: daytime highs range from +17…+22°C in the northern regions to +20…+25°C in the south. No precipitation is expected.
However, on Sunday, a cyclone moving from the Caucasus will begin to affect the country. As a result, warmer air masses are expected to move in. Daytime temperatures will range from +21…+26°C in the north to +25…+30°C in the south, reaching up to +33°C in some parts of the Ahal region. Increased winds are forecast in some areas, including the Balkan and Ahal regions. Significant precipitation is not expected.
On Monday, weather conditions will remain contrasting. In the coastal areas of the Balkan region, temperatures will drop to +12…+17°C, while warm weather will persist elsewhere: +22…+27°C in the north and +28…+33°C in the south and east, locally up to +35°C. Short-term rains and stronger winds are possible in some areas.
On Tuesday, most regions are expected to see rain with thunderstorms. The temperature pattern will remain uneven: around +13…+18°C in the Balkan region, +18…+23°C in the Ahal region (locally up to +25…+30°C), and generally +23…+28°C in other regions.
