The national carrier of Turkmenistan is investing in future professionals: applications are now open for a four-year pilot training program at the Turkish Aeronautical Association University in Ankara.
A key feature of the program is the obligation for graduates to work for Turkmenistan Airlines for at least 10 years. This requirement is formalized through a three-party agreement between the airline, the student, and their guarantor immediately after successful entrance exams.
What the airline covers:
• Full tuition (theoretical and flight training);
• Accommodation in a student dormitory;
• Annual round-trip airfare on the Ashgabat — Ankara — Ashgabat route.
Expenses covered by the student:
• Visa processing and medical insurance;
• Daily expenses, food, communication, and transportation within Türkiye.
Candidate requirements: Applicants must be citizens of Turkmenistan (male) and meet the following criteria:
• Age: under 25;
• Education: at least secondary education;
• Military service: military ID required;
• Health: successful completion of a medical examination in accordance with ICAO standards at the Ashgabat International Airport Medical Center.
Admission stages and exams: Applications will be accepted until June 30, 2026. Entrance exams will be held from July 1 to July 15 at the Aviation Personnel Training School in Ashgabat.
Applicants will take exams in:
• English language;
• Mathematics;
• Physics.
The final stage will include interviews with airline management and representatives of the Turkish university.
