Microsoft has officially announced the dates for its largest technology conference, Microsoft Build 2026. The event will take place on June 2–3 in San Francisco. For those unable to attend in person, a free online livestream of the key sessions will be available.
Practice instead of theory
This year, the organizers have decided to move away from general presentations and focus on practical knowledge. The main program of Build 2026 will concentrate on designing and deploying scalable AI systems — from intelligent agents to complex multi-model processes.
Conference participants will have the opportunity to:
• Debug their own technical solutions together with engineers from Microsoft.
• Gain exclusive access to new tools through the GitHub and Microsoft Foundry platforms.
• Consult with experts about integrating AI into real corporate projects.
Key speakers and participation terms
The conference will open on June 2 with a keynote by Satya Nadella, CEO of Microsoft. Other announced speakers include Vice President Scott Hanselman and leading developers from GitHub.
Registration for the event is already open on the company’s official website. The ticket price for in-person attendance is $1,099, while digital access to the livestream sessions will be provided free of charge.
Build 2026 is a key event for developers and technology leaders. Even watching the free online sessions will allow specialists to learn about new standards in AI and cloud computing directly from the creators of these technologies, helping them remain competitive in the job market.
