Nothing has scheduled the presentation of its new smartphone series for March 5th. This event will take place exactly 24 hours after Apple's spring event. To attract attention, co-founder and CEO Carl Pei used an original tactic, publishing a picture of a competitor's invitation and overlaying the date of his own announcement on it.
The main focus of the presentation will be on two new devices: the base Nothing Phone (4a) and the more powerful Phone (4a) Pro. The smartphones are expected to retain the signature transparent design but will be more affordable than flagship models. The Pro version is anticipated to feature an improved camera and a more powerful processor for demanding tasks.
According to forecasts, on March 4th, Apple will unveil its iPhone 17e, priced around $599. Nothing's lineup will offer more budget-friendly solutions: the regular model will cost $475, and the Pro version will be $540. Thus, customers will be able to choose between the Apple classic and the technologically advanced novelty from Nothing.
For the audience, this is an excellent opportunity to compare devices from different brands over two days. The choice in the sub-$600 segment will become significantly wider, offering both a proven ecosystem and bold design solutions.
