The Embassy of the United Kingdom in Turkmenistan has announced the upcoming UK FinTech Week 2026, which will take place in London from 20 to 24 April 2026.

The event will bring together fintech founders, entrepreneurs, investors, banking executives, regulators, policymakers, academics, and media representatives from around the world. The programme includes the 2026 Global Innovation in Finance Summit (IFGS), interactive workshops, panel discussions, and presentations of the latest technologies.

According to the UK Embassy, UK FinTech Week 2026 offers valuable opportunities for Turkmen delegates, including:

• gaining insight into the practices of leading financial regulators in digital banking, payments, artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity;

• learning from the experience of international banks in integrating advanced financial technologies;

• engaging directly with UK and global technology providers to support the digital transformation of Turkmenistan’s banking sector.

The Embassy also notes the recent approval of the Concept for the Development of Turkmenistan’s Digital Economy for 2026–2028, as well as progress in modernizing the country’s banking and financial infrastructure. Participation in UK FinTech Week 2026 will enable Turkmen delegates to study best international practices, strengthen partnerships, and support the digital transformation of the financial sector.
