This meeting emphasized the special role of legislators in creating a "legal foundation" for the strategic partnership between the two countries. The parties confirmed that parliamentary interaction today serves as a reliable guarantee for the implementation of long-term investment initiatives.
Endo Toshiaki expressed deep gratitude to Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, National Leader of the Turkmen People and Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty, for his invaluable contribution to bringing Ashgabat and Tokyo closer together.
During the conversation, special attention was paid to the Khalk Maslakhaty Chairman's initiative to hold the "Central Asia + Japan" Parliamentary Forum in Ashgabat. This platform is intended to become a powerful instrument for peace and mutual understanding.
It was noted that legislative support and friendship groups directly facilitate the work of Japanese companies in the Turkmen market, ensuring the transparency and long-term nature of contracts. Furthermore, healthcare and education remain fundamental areas where Japanese experience and technology are actively applied in Turkmenistan.
Endo Toshiaki also expressed admiration for the success of the Turkmen pavilion at EXPO 2025, emphasizing that it has become the country's "calling card," generating enormous interest among the Japanese public and international experts.
