Türkiye’s official tourism platform GoTürkiye has released its third mini-series titled “Hidden Lover.” The 10-episode romantic comedy aims to reveal the mysterious and lesser-known sides of a popular resort destination to a global audience.

The leading roles in the project are played by Turkish cinema stars Eda Ece and Caner Cindoruk. The storyline begins with an accidental misunderstanding: architect Güneş mistakes businessman Deniz for a driver. Together, they set off on a journey through hidden coves, ancient cities, and gastronomic routes of the Mediterranean, which ultimately leads to an unexpected romance.

The project is designed to promote Antalya as a year-round tourism destination, showcasing not only its beaches but also natural canyons and traces of ancient civilizations. “Hidden Lover” continues GoTürkiye’s series of successful cinematic projects, such as “Antalya Gambit” and “İstanbul My Love,” which have already attracted millions of views worldwide.

GoTürkiye’s digital success confirms the effectiveness of this strategy: in the first half of 2025, the platform’s YouTube channel reached 5.3 million subscribers and 763 million views. These figures placed the platform among the world’s leading tourism media platforms.
