Today, on December 12, President of Russia Vladimir Putin arrived in Turkmenistan for a two-day visit. The aircraft of the special flight detachment “Russia” landed at Ashgabat Airport, TASS reports.

At the ramp, Putin was greeted by an honor guard company dressed in bright green overcoats, lined up along a light-beige carpet decorated with traditional Turkmen ornaments.

President Putin has a busy program scheduled for December 12. In addition to participating in the events of the forum dedicated to the International Year of Peace and Trust, declared by the UN, Vladimir Putin is also expected to hold bilateral meetings.
