RUA AlHaram AlMakki (a PIF-owned lead developer) successfully made its debut at Cityscape Global 2025 in Riyadh. The highlight was the signing of six landmark Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) with international partners aimed at boosting investment and global collaboration.
At the center of these agreements is the company’s first project: the “King Salman Gate” in Mecca. The project is presented as a transformative multi-functional complex located near the Al-Masjid al-Haram and is designed to set new hospitality standards while uniting the global Muslim community.

MOUs were signed with partners from Saudi Arabia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Brunei, and the USA. Key signatories include:
• Osool (Saudi Arabia)
• BPKH (Indonesian Hajj Management Agency)
• MRCB (Malaysian developer)
• TAIB (Brunei Islamic Trust Fund)
A particularly notable partnership was signed with Forbes Global Properties (USA). RUA AlHaram AlMakki Co. became the first developer in the world to join this exclusive global network, enhancing the project’s international visibility and attracting ultra-high-net-worth investors.

The signing of these documents marks a major milestone in the development of King Salman Gate, supporting Saudi Arabia’s “Vision 2030” program and strengthening Mecca’s position as a key international tourism destination.
