The Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation Opened a Branch in Avaza

On December 9, the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Care held a ceremonial opening in the Avaza National Tourist Zone. The creation of a new center in a resort area with the healing climate of the Caspian Sea underscores the state's strategic focus on comprehensive rehabilitation and the health of the younger generation.
The Avaza branch is of particular importance. It will serve as a coordination and rehabilitation center, providing long-term treatment, medical consultations, and wellness programs for children who have undergone complex surgeries.
Speaking at the ceremony, Oguljahan Atabayeva, Vice President of the Foundation, emphasized that caring for children is a priority of state policy and extends far beyond Turkmenistan's borders.

"Caring for all children—those living not only in Turkmenistan but throughout the world—is at the center of attention of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, as well as the President of Turkmenistan," she said.
Since its founding, the Foundation has supported hundreds of complex medical operations and the purchase of modern equipment for healthcare facilities.
Oguljahan Atabayeva noted that the Foundation is actively expanding its international humanitarian work, providing assistance to hundreds of children affected by natural disasters in Turkey, Russia, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan.

The ceremony, attended by international delegations (participants in the international conference "The Role of Women in Modern Society: Developing International Cooperation to Achieve the Sustainable Development Goals"), concluded with a demonstration by the Galkynysh National Equestrian Games Group and an exhibition of national cuisine, highlighting the country's rich cultural heritage.
