As reported on the official website of the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan, applications to higher education institutions in Hungary for the 2026/2027 academic year from citizens of Turkmenistan who have completed general secondary education and who will turn 18 years old by August 31, 2026, and who will complete secondary education in the 2025-2026 academic year, will be accepted at the International University for Humanities and Development from December 1 to 15, 2025.
Information on the list of specializations, the number of applicants for admission to higher professional education programs (bachelor's degree) at Hungarian universities, as well as the conditions of study can be obtained from the Admissions Office.
List of documents:
— Application and questionnaire in the established form for citizens of Turkmenistan;
— Birth certificate (copy and certified translation);
— Certificate of permanent residence (copy and certified translation);
— Original (copy and certified translation) of the document on secondary general education;
— Original (copy and certified translation) of a certificate confirming successful completion of one of the assessment tests: SAT (Scholastic Aptitude Test), TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) and IELTS (International English Language Testing System);
— a certificate of health in the form established by the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan (a certificate of health for citizens entering higher educational institutions outside of Turkmenistan);
— a certificate from the last place of study or work (military unit);
— Twelve photographs measuring 3x4 cm.
Winners of state school Olympiads in subjects that enjoy preferential treatment when entering higher professional education institutions, members of the national team of Turkmenistan who participated in international Olympiads in general education subjects, submit originals of the relevant documents confirming their status.
In addition, those wishing to enroll in the course, along with the above documents, must submit the following documents to the Admissions Committee and provide copies of them:
— Passport of a citizen of Turkmenistan and passport of a citizen of Turkmenistan for exit from Turkmenistan and arrival in Turkmenistan
Persons who have served in the Armed Forces of Turkmenistan are required to present a military ID card, and persons who have not served in the military are required to present a certificate of registration for military service.
The selection of candidates who have provided the necessary documents will be carried out on a competitive basis based on the results of certification tests.
The candidate is solely responsible for providing false information or forged official documents.
