On December 1, the opening of the livestock complex of the Altyn Halka state enterprise took place with the participation of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov. The opening of this facility underscores the strategic focus of state policy on strengthening food security and introducing advanced global technologies into the country's agro-industrial complex.
The head of state toured the complex's administrative building, paying particular attention to the digital systems department. A specialist briefed the President on the complex's key component: how the entire territory and production processes are monitored.
Serdar Berdimuhamedov was introduced to the microchip tracking technology: each cattle is equipped with a special microchip that stores a complete electronic passport, including information on breed, health, and daily milk yield. Monitors observe the animal housing areas and the entry and exit of agricultural machinery, ensuring maximum management transparency.
Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Tangryguly Atakhalliyev reported on the complex's structure, including buildings for housing 500 head of cattle and 200 calves. He also presented plans for the construction of new poultry farms (15 million eggs and 1,000 tons of chicken meat per year) and livestock complexes for 1,000 head of cattle, which are proposed for construction in the Ak Bugday etrap of the Akhal velayat.
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov toured the laboratory department, where he was shown high-precision equipment from the United States, Japan, Germany, Poland, and Bulgaria. The head of state expressed interest in the technology's capabilities for quickly testing the quality and nutritional value of feed, as well as for accurately determining the fat, protein, and lactose content of milk, which is the basis for producing high-quality products.
Modern technologies in the cattle buildings allow for maintaining optimal temperature and humidity. The milking parlor is equipped with a system capable of simultaneously servicing 40 cows. The device automatically records milk yield and, importantly, switches off if there are any changes in the animal's health.
During a tour of the livestock and breeding cow buildings, the President emphasized that increasing livestock numbers is a key development area for the industry and gave the Deputy Prime Minister a number of specific instructions. He also toured the feed warehouse, where he was shown the various types of feed produced at the complex.
The complex covers 375 hectares, of which over 9 hectares are occupied by various structures, and over 365 hectares are used for growing forage crops for livestock.
At the end of the tour, the President personally presented the complex's manager with the keys to a new batch of powerful equipment and vehicles, including John Deere tractors and combines (USA).
After visiting the livestock complex, the President went to the Department of Communications and Supervision of the Turkmen Lake "Altyn Asyr" of the State Water Management Committee.
Here, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov inspected the technical specifications of the newly purchased heavy-duty vehicles—tractors, fuel trucks, and powerful excavators manufactured by the Chinese company Shantui Construction Machinery FZE.
The head of state emphasized that the commissioning of the new high-tech livestock facility, as well as the significant strengthening of the country's water management infrastructure, confirm the state's comprehensive and systemic approach to economic development and water conservation.
