The President of Kazakhstan awarded the President of Turkmenistan the Altyn Kyran Order (Golden Eagle, the highest honor of the Republic of Kazakhstan).
"Your country is actively modernizing its industry and transport infrastructure. Extensive work is underway to strengthen its energy potential and technological transformation. Thanks to your far-sighted initiatives, large-scale social projects are being systematically implemented in fraternal Turkmenistan, scientific and educational spheres are steadily developing, and the well-being of citizens is steadily improving. All these achievements command sincere respect and deserve the highest praise," President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev said.
A clear confirmation of the country's responsible and proactive position was Turkmenistan's initiative, supported by the UN General Assembly, to declare 2025 the International Year of Peace and Trust, the Kazakh leader added.
"I am confident that Kazakh-Turkmen relations have a bright future." The results of today's talks are clear evidence of this. There is no doubt that the successful implementation of the agreements reached will give a powerful impetus to our multifaceted partnership and open a new chapter in the annals of Kazakh-Turkmen relations," Kassym-Jomart Tokayev said.

Serdar Berdimuhamedov thanked Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and the entire fraternal people of Kazakhstan for presenting him with the highest state award, the Altyn Kyran Order.
"I view this as a sign of high respect for the people of Turkmenistan, a testament to the strong friendship and good-neighborliness that have united our peoples for many centuries. Our close and productive cooperation on the international stage clearly demonstrates the high level of mutual understanding, solidarity, and mutual support in addressing important issues on the regional and global agendas today," the President of Turkmenistan said.
