On November 24, National Leader of the Turkmen People, Chairman of the Khalk Maslahkaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, made a working visit to the Balkan Velayat. The main purpose of the visit was to inspect the readiness of the Avaza National Tourist Zone for the upcoming International Conference "The Role of Women in Modern Society: Developing International Cooperation for Sustainable Development" in December.
During the visit, the Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty visited the site on the Caspian Sea coast where a branch of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Care is planned to open.
Having approved the selection of the building to house the Foundation's branch, the National Leader of the Turkmen People inspected the working conditions created there for specialists and instructed the Foundation's Vice Presidents, Oguljahan Atabayeva and Rejep Bazarov, to hold the opening ceremony of the branch on the eve of the international conference. This decision, as noted, will expand the list of historically significant events and allow the Foundation to carry out its multifaceted activities in accordance with the humanistic principles of the Turkmen people.
The National Leader also gave specific instructions regarding the development of the territory, calling for attention to the proper improvement of the areas adjacent to the building and the creation of green spaces and gardens on the site.
The Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty then inspected the building at the Avaza National Tourist Zone where the International Conference on the Role of Women will be held, noting that the conditions created must fully comply with international standards.
Special requirements were set for the exhibition display that will accompany the forum. The exhibition must clearly reflect the active participation of women in all spheres of Turkmen society, their high social status, and the state's commitment. It is essential to actively utilize modern, advanced practices and innovative technologies to showcase their achievements.
It was emphasized that holding this conference, in which many countries and international organizations have expressed interest, is a clear demonstration of the country's global recognition of the respect it places on women's work.
During his working visit, the National Leader of the Turkmen People held a regular working meeting of the State Organizing Committee with the participation of members of the Government and vice presidents of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Care. The meeting discussed ways to implement the established objectives and ensure the high level of organization of all international events planned in Avaza and Ashgabat in honor of the 30th anniversary of neutrality.
Instructions were also given regarding the activities of the branch of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Care, which will be established in Avaza. This will expand the scope of the Foundation's humanitarian principles and strengthen its position in the international community.
The Head of the Khalk Maslakhaty emphasized the importance of a comprehensive approach to the organizational level of all planned events, which will enhance Turkmenistan's authority on the global political stage.
