The Embassy of Turkmenistan in Afghanistan organized a ceremonial reception with the participation of the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Afghanistan, heads of diplomatic missions accredited in Kabul, and representatives of international organizations. According to the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Afghanistan, the event, held on 22 November, was dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s Permanent Neutrality, the International Day of Neutrality, and the International Year of Peace and Trust.
During the ceremony, participants were informed about the events dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s Permanent Neutrality, the International Day of Neutrality, and the International Year of Peace and Trust, including preparations for the international forum that will be held in December this year in Ashgabat. The special significance of major economic projects implemented in Afghanistan with Turkmenistan’s participation—such as the TAPI gas pipeline, the TAP power transmission line, the railway, and the fiber-optic communication network—was also highlighted, along with Turkmenistan’s humanitarian assistance to the Afghan people.
Additionally, video materials showcasing Turkmenistan’s major achievements in the international arena were presented during the event.
