Turkmen students showed outstanding results at the VII International Student Team Olympiad in Mathematics (ISTCiM-2025), which was held from November 5 to 11 in Katowice (Poland). The national team of Turkmenistan competed with 154 students from leading universities in Austria, Great Britain, Germany, France and other European countries, winning a total of 19 medals.

The successful performance of Turkmen students from seven national universities (including the Magtymguly TSU, the University of Engineering and Technology, the International University of Humanities and Development, and others) confirmed the high level of their training.

Turkmenistan's medal total:

• Individual awards: 9 gold, 8 silver and 2 bronze medals.

• Team total: 2 silver and 1 bronze medals.

All the students participating in the Olympiad won individual awards, which is an exceptional achievement.

The team of the International University of Humanities and Development was particularly noted by winning the III-degree competition cup for its successful performance in the team competition.

Such high prizes at the prestigious international competition testify to the effectiveness of government programs for the education and training of comprehensively educated and intellectually mature youth, which corresponds to the goals outlined in the "International Year of Peace and Trust."
