From November 10 to 15, the Institute of Telecommunications and Informatics of Turkmenistan hosted seminars led by international experts from the European Training Foundation (ETF). The events were held within the DARYA project, which aims to develop Turkmenistan’s education system and improve the professional qualifications of teachers.

What is SCAFFOLD? The central focus of the seminars was the introduction of the SCAFFOLD methodology, developed as part of the ETF regional project “Dialogue and Action for Talented Youth of Central Asia.”

The SCAFFOLD method is an innovative pedagogical approach aimed at: • Planning and structuring the learning process. • Gradual improvement of students’ knowledge, skills, and competences.

The sessions were conducted by ETF’s Central Asia coordinator K.I. Hemshemayir and members of the SCAFFOLD methodological commission. The seminars were attended by teachers from higher education institutions, vocational schools, and secondary schools across Turkmenistan.

The implementation of the SCAFFOLD method holds strategic importance for Turkmenistan, as it directly contributes to enhancing the quality of national education, aligning it with advanced international standards, and strengthening cooperation with the European Training Foundation.
