From November 3 to 6, representatives of Turkmenistan, including Selbi Batyrova, Vice-Rector for Scientific Affairs of the Turkmen National Institute of World Languages named after Dovletmammet Azadi, took part in an International Educational Conference organized by Kangwon National University of the Republic of Korea. This event, held within the framework of academic and educational cooperation, highlighted the steady expansion of partnership between the two countries in the cultural and humanitarian sphere.
The participation of Vice-Rector S. Batyrova and the Director of the King Sejong Korean Language Center in Ashgabat, Mahri Hudainazarova, emphasizes the constructive nature of friendly relations between the states.
During the conference sessions, S. Batyrova delivered a presentation about the activities of Turkmenistan’s leading linguistic university. In her address, she outlined the key directions for the development of the institute:
• Digital Technologies: Introducing modern digital education tools.
• International Cooperation: Expanding academic exchanges and implementing the Memorandum of Understanding with Kangwon National University.
• Teaching Methodology: Continuously improving language teaching methods and enhancing professional qualifications of instructors.
Alongside the conference, a large exhibition was organized. The exposition featured samples of Turkmen carpet weaving, ancient jewelry, and traditional crafts.
Holding such cultural events abroad reflects Turkmenistan’s commitment to peace and mutual trust, while also contributing positively to the expansion of mutually beneficial cooperation and the country’s integration into the global economy.
