Apple plans to release at least 15 new products in 2026, which, according to insider Mark Gurman (Bloomberg), will become one of the most significant years in the company’s history. Large-scale launches are expected, including enhancements to Apple Intelligence features and the long-awaited debut of a foldable iPhone.
In 2026, Apple will focus on updating its main product lines by introducing new generations of chips:
• Mac: A transition to M5 chips is expected (for MacBook Air, Mac mini, and Mac Studio) and M5 Pro/Max chips for MacBook Pro. By the end of the year, MacBook Pro models with thinner bodies, touchscreens, and M6 Pro/Max chips may appear.
• Tablets: The lineup will include the iPad 12 (with an A18 chip), iPad Air (with an M4 chip), and a new iPad mini with an OLED display.
Key announcements planned for 2026 reflect a strategic shift at Apple:
• Foldable iPhone: The release of the company’s first foldable smartphone is expected, opening a new market segment for Apple.
• In-house Modem: The iPhone 18 Pro models will no longer use Qualcomm chips and will instead be equipped with Apple’s own C1 modem.
• Smart Home and Siri: Apple will introduce an updated version of the Siri voice assistant, a new smart home display that can be wall-mounted, and an IP security camera.
• Smart Glasses: By the end of the year, the company may showcase its smart glasses, as suppliers have already begun producing small test batches.
