Oriented on making people closer

Horse breeders from Turkmenistan and their Azerbaijani colleagues may begin collaborating to revive the art of breeding Akhal-Teke and Karabakh horses.

This was announced by the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, during the 12th Summit of Heads of State of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS).

According to Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, Turkmenistan is making efforts to promote the carpet-weaving traditions of both nations and considers cooperation in horse breeding as part of the cultural heritage of the Turkic peoples.

The National Leader of the Turkmen people expressed confidence that such initiatives would contribute to the development of cultural ties between the countries and proposed organizing similar events with other fraternal states.
