Honda Prepares Electric Motorcycle with Fast-Charging Support
08.09.2025 | 10:20 |Japanese manufacturer Honda has announced the upcoming release of its new electric motorcycle, with details to be revealed on September 16. The model is expected to be the production version of the EV Fun concept showcased last year.
The new motorcycle will be a full-size, naked-style bike and will feature DC fast-charging support via a CCS Combo 2 port, allowing for shorter stops on long trips. Previously, most electric motorcycles only supported Level 2 charging or had limited battery capacity, making long-distance travel challenging.
The design of the new Honda retains the key features of the EV Fun concept, combining modern naked lines with the brand’s classic elements. Battery capacity, range, and price have not yet been officially disclosed, but these factors will be decisive for the model’s success.
Initially, the motorcycle is expected to be sold primarily in Europe, as test videos were published on Honda’s UK page with the note “tested on European streets.”
