Pixel 8 and newer models can broadcast audio to multiple headphones simultaneously
05.09.2025 | 16:20 |Starting with the Pixel 8, Pixel smartphones have a new and useful feature: they can now broadcast audio to several pairs of headphones at the same time. This is made possible by enhanced support for Bluetooth LE Audio and Auracast technologies. To share the sound, the user simply needs to create a private broadcast and share it using a QR code.
In addition, Google is expanding its ecosystem's capabilities. The Pixel Buds Pro 2 headphones have received an update that adds an Adaptive Audio function (partial noise cancellation) and hearing protection against sudden loud sounds. Android support has also been extended to several models of Sony headphones.
