New skills for young people: Future Skills Academy launches second stream

Young people in Turkmenistan are getting another opportunity for professional and career growth. The UNDP Office in Turkmenistan, in cooperation with the UNDP Knowledge Project, announces the start of registration for the second stream of the educational initiative Future Skills Academy.

Future Skills Academy is not just a course, it is an investment in the future. The modern labor market requires specialists not only theoretical knowledge, but also specific, practical skills. The program gives young people and women the opportunity to master the most in-demand competencies for free, which will increase their competitiveness and open up new career horizons.

Following the successful first stream, which was attended by more than 1,000 people, the new stage is aimed at developing key skills in three areas:

Universal skills (soft skills), including communication.

Entrepreneurial skills needed to start and run your own business.

Technical skills, such as digital literacy and programming.

All classes will be held online on the Coursera platform, making learning accessible from anywhere in the country. Participants will also be provided with support and mentoring throughout the process.

To be part of this initiative, you must be a citizen of Turkmenistan or a permanent resident without citizenship and have a genuine interest in learning.

Be part of your future! Registration for the program is now open. All interested young people can register and gain new, in-demand skills.
