Lenovo ThinkBook Plus Gen 6 Rollable: A laptop with an expandable screen

Lenovo has launched the ThinkBook Plus Gen 6 Rollable, an innovative laptop featuring a rollable OLED display that was previously announced earlier this year. The device's starting price is $3,300.

The key feature of this model is its OLED display, which can vertically expand from 14 to 16.7 inches and retract. This transformation is achieved with a simple key press or a hand gesture towards the webcam. The manufacturer states that this expansion increases the screen area by almost 50%, making it particularly convenient for document work, programming, data analysis, and content creation. The display also boasts a high refresh rate of 120 Hz, a brightness of 400 nits, and 100% DCI-P3 color gamut coverage.

With a thickness of just 19.9 mm and a weight of 1.7 kg, the ThinkBook Plus Gen 6 Rollable combines portability with advanced features. It incorporates the ThinkBook Workspace function, which maximizes the use of the expanded screen with widgets for quick access to applications. Furthermore, the display's portrait orientation helps maintain proper posture, reducing strain during long hours of computer use.

This PC falls under the Copilot+ category and integrates artificial intelligence functionalities such as Lenovo AI Now (for task optimization and personalized recommendations) and Paint Cocreator. These AI capabilities enable efficient handling of demanding tasks even without an internet connection.

The ThinkBook Plus Gen 6 Rollable is equipped with a modern Intel Lunar Lake processor, an Intel Arc graphics chip, 32 GB of RAM, and a 1 TB SSD. For wireless connectivity, it features Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4, ensuring high-speed and stable connections.
