Oriented on making people closer

On June 22, the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Qatar, Myratgeldi Seyitmammedov, held a meeting with the Ambassador of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia to Qatar, Feisel Ali Abrahim. During the meeting, the Turkmen side emphasized the importance of the year 2025 being declared the Year of International Peace and Trust in Turkmenistan and noted the organization of international events dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the country's permanent neutrality.

The discussion also covered measures to ensure the unhindered passage of foreign citizens through Turkmenistan’s land border crossings, as well as the use of Ashgabat International Airport. Particular attention was given to the humanitarian corridor that facilitates the return of foreign nationals to their home countries.

The sides exchanged views on the development of bilateral cooperation and considered prospects for further strengthening interaction.

At the conclusion of the meeting, both parties confirmed their readiness to continue joint efforts in the field of humanitarian assistance and international cooperation between Turkmenistan and Ethiopia.
