The Victory Parade began on Red Square to the sound of the chimes on the Spasskaya Tower of the Moscow Kremlin.

Eighty years have passed since the Great Victory in the most brutal and bloody war in world history, which led to irreparable losses, taking millions of human lives and leaving unhealed wounds. United in the face of a merciless threat, fraternal peoples demonstrated examples of valor and courage on the battlefield. The victory over fascism in the Great Patriotic War is rightfully our common heritage. And the participation of the President of Turkmenistan in the current anniversary celebrations is a clear evidence of the respectful attitude to the common feat of the heroic liberators, whose memory will live forever.

The Turkmen people made a worthy contribution to the Great Victory. Our compatriots selflessly fought on the fronts, demonstrating unparalleled heroism, fortitude and strength of spirit. The valiant feat of Turkmen soldiers is a true example of love for the Motherland, honor and loyalty to duty. The names of our fellow countrymen - those who did not return to their native homes and those who returned home with Victory, are included in the multi-volume editions of "Hatyra" and "Şöhrat".
